This picture was taken outdoors with a point and shoot camera. This photo relates to my concept because my main point to show is how tijuana has more than what people think of it as poor and unsecure place. Its art is everywhere. You can see how the pinatas and the typical mexican store is shown and on the right theres a unique achitec building with a very interesting design most people would not think of running into if they go to tijuana. Most of us pass my these kind of art shown in lots of buildings but just dont take a second to notice the beuty of it .What i liked is that thanks to photoshop i put them together in a single picture side by side to show the diferences and they have no similarities but the fact that the pinatas and the spike design in front of the building have the same structure.I really enjoyed walking around and noticing all these things i myself have never seen.Monday, December 13, 2010

This image was taken indoors in a a museum down in tijuana. This interesting replica of a real desert cought my attention right away.It looks so real it made me feel i was actualy in baja california sur in the dessert i like the way it was set up and just the fact that it looks so real. This image relates to my theme because it shows how the artist use their skills to set up a small corner of the room into a minuture section of a real desert.I really like this one because it is unique from all the other photographs and hope to fin more interesting and amazing projects.

This image was taken in doors in a mexican musuem in tijuana. This seemed interesting because it was a small desert section and its really real .I felt like if i was actually down south in mexico where all there is desert. It cought my attention right away.I really like this picture because it is unique from all the other. It relates to my concept because it shows how they can even use their art skills to recreate a desert in such a small corner, and make it look so real .photo #7
This photo was taken outdoors and i like the way this building really well designed in tijuana is centered and located in the middle of two other buildings. Its unique shape and design is really wonderful and well what can i say it just cought my attention to see this really well made building in tijuana. It relates to my concept because my main point is to show how when people come or think of tijuana they think of this really unsecure and ugly place. But over the years they have created some really nice buildings that show their architec skills and art all developed and shown on the design of the building.Theres plany more and these and hope to get to go down to tijuana again and explore to find and surprise myself with these buildings.photo #6
This picture was taken in doors. What really cought my attention from my angle was this lady sweeping and the design that expresses texture in a way that i can almost say that i know how it feels whats painted. All three of them just cought my attention.Once again it connects to my concept because the designs are mexican they were taken inside a museum of art .I used phtoshop to add the lighting effect to all three of the images.I saw alot of amazing things here and i really hope to visit it again.photo #5
This picture was taken out doors .It Was like an altar to emiliano zapata a mexican revolutionist. It seemed interesting to me how they created this using diferent types of fruits like bananas, apples and flowers too.I centered his picture so it can be like the center of attention besides a the colorful fruits.Relates to my concept for its art created to a mexican historian .photo #4

This photo was taken outdoors in tijuana. This was a busy traffic intersection but i managed to quickly take the picture i wanted without any car in the way. This statue is located in the center and its just tall and pointy. When i was it it reminded me of a cross so i photoshoped the picture and added the aztec indians to show a religious type of feeling.I hope to find more interesting designs around tijuana.

This picture was taken outdoors with a point and shoot camera. This relates to my cocept for this mexican theathre located in tijuana is not an ordinary theathre. The movies showed here are informative about history and things like these. The design it has makes me think of the aztecas and their pyramids. So I decided to put these indians in the background with photoshop to kind of set the idea more deeply into aztec warriors. This in one of my favorite pictures and i really enojoyed learning this new technique in photoshop essentials.photo #2
Since my concept is art that represents mexican culture wether its buildings, murals etc from tijuana .This picture was taken outdoors in tijuana this cow represents the art ,this design represents mexican culture wich you can find in mexican dresses or other fabrics.I Think they decided to put the art on a cow because mexico havin a lot of ranches.Where animals are raised.I really like this picture because it has the art on the cow all in one.I hope to be taking more pictures and keep on learning new things each time.

I really liked this picture of the colors of the rocks the mountains the sky like a red pink kind of color and the dense white of the fog.The composition it is in is also perfect. The rocks really up close, you can see the texture of them. Then the farther it gets they dissapear and are no longer visible. The center is all white and foggy and at the end those mountains give it a natural feel for nature. When i see this picture i get the sense of the wonderfulness and the beauty of nature.I really love the sky with thos fading clouds and the pink redish color they have reflecting on the foggy water. I think what made this picture so especial is the fact that it was taken right before sunrise. That single thing apart from all the other things made me love this picture of a nice landscape.

CULTURE
This project was based on culture and well in this one i exposed the art of mexican culture.I exposed differences that makes the culture different like in our culture our parents will never leave use alone like that. When i look at this picture i ask myself where are this kid's parents. This picture was taken outside under a bridge in Tijuana. I really enjoyed this picture and the meaning of expressing culture, and i really liked my photo .I know its not the best ,but i really liked it.
PORTRAIT
I had fun working on portrait and intending on making it a better portrait with techniques we learned like using natural lighting and just the way it reflects on the model and creates dark shadowsand a little dim that shines and kind of blurs next to the models face.I organized the table and the chair at the same height of her.I really enjoyed using natural lighting and i really liked it.I enjoy to continue learning new photography techniques in this class.

This picture was taken outside. The purpose of this project was to learn how to use everything around us to make a great picture, and it turned out to work if you look carefully and think creatively you can get a great picture.I used the pole to sort of aline it with my model in a kind of centered way.I really enjoyed this project and I think even tho it wasent the biggest assignment it had a really good lesson that really helped me.To improve my photography skills and develop them in this class.

I learned that snap shots and portraits are not at all the same. The only similarity they might have is that they both involve people. Not just any picture of someone posing looking good is a portrait. First of all a portrait uses natural lighting from a window of a door slightly open. You capture a moment because the person does not look at the camera as if the person doesnt know you are there. In simple words it not someone posing ,more like just being themselves an capturing that . That is what i learned.
This picture was taken outdoors .We learned how to use strobe lights and work in group of 3 and it was really fun. First we had to come up wit an idea on how to organize the models .We also learned how to connect all the plugs and unplug the power box correctly. We always learned new photo techniques to make are pictures better.I really enjoyed this project and hope to do more projects as good as this one and learn new thing each time.

This process was different than black and white. You have to do step by step movements.you have to crop.At first i thought it was very difficult with the lasso tool and picking the image. But then at the end i ended up creating a great picture. Just playing around with photoshop tools. It was a really fun project and hope we have more like these so we can learn more about photoshop tools. To create good and funny pictures. This one was all about blending to pictures together so I croped a monkey head and placed it on a motocross rider thats about to fall because his tires came off.I think it looks kinda of funny but I really liked it.

I really like my cover i just used my old negatives and i sprayed painted over them. The photos were taken from a medium distance not to far neither to close. The work was organized by the pictures being taken in the same spot, the tone is light. The image is in focus so you can see their faces it was done intentionally. My sequence was just showing how long distance love for a couple. It was taken outdoors.I think my work was successful.I always learn new things.Im very satisfied with my work and it was a fun project.Im really enjoying the class.
